The school operates a ten day cycle timetable. The table below shows the number of periods for each subject.

Students choose three subjects to study at GCSE, these are placed in three blocks, and currently the subjects are –

Most students study Core and Additional Science leading to two GCSE grades and have ten lessons. Some students study separate Biology, Chemistry and Physics and they have four lessons of each in the ten-day cycle. This group have two lessons of PE whilst other students have 4 lessons.
Each week we have a Learning for Life period during which the students study different aspects of PSE. This takes place within the form groups and is led by the form, this period takes place at a different period each week.
