GCSE Results 2026 – St Mary’s RC High School.

Staff and pupils at St Mary’s RC High School Hereford are celebrating another exceptional set of GCSE results this year. The outstanding school’s GCSE results have improved yet again!

In the key attainment benchmarks 90% of pupils achieved a 4+ in English and 85% got a 4+ in Maths, with a hugely impressive 64% of pupils gaining strong passes (5+) in both English and Maths, and 82% passing both core subjects with grade 4+. Across all other subjects pupils at St Mary’s excelled, gaining a strong pass as their average grade, with the school also seeing further increases in the number of pupils achieving the top grade 9s.

This year, boys have done particularly well at St Mary’s, with outstanding overall attainment, and some remarkable individual successes.

Headteacher Stuart Wetson is delighted with this year’s excellent outcomes and praised the hard work and commitment of the pupils and staff team; “We are incredibly proud of our pupils for what they have achieved. They are an absolutely wonderful group of young people who deserve these superb results.
