Many of our musicians performed at HPA Fest in March, with lots of fantastic successes. Our choir have grown in number and wowed the judges with their volume and enthusiasm singing This is Me (Greatest Showman) and When I Grow Up (Matilda), as well as their ability to continue performing acapella when the backing track failed! We had students enter in many classes across singing, woodwind, strings, piano, brass and rock and pop, with impressive scores across the board including wins for Bea, Florence, Molly, Dom, our Brass Ensemble and Rock Band. Esther additionally entered 3 drama classes and received a 3rd, 2nd and 1st place!

Bea (voice) and Annie (cornet) were also honoured to be invited to perform at the celebratory Gala Concert on Thursday 17th March and performed wonderfully, where it was also lovely to see 2 ex students performing.

We are thrilled that Bea was awarded the HPA Fest Young Performer of the Year and received the highest mark in the whole festival with 94/100!
