The Year 9s made heavy weather of beating a physical Tenbury side, who they had lost to last year, but came away with an important 2-1 win in the County Schools league.

Trailing 1-0 for much of the first half, Zak, drew St Mary’s level with a goal just before half-time, following in on a rebound off the keeper after a shot from Fin.  With 5minutes to go before the final whistle, Charlie then made it 2-1, following good approach work down the left wing from Will.

Special mention to Tom and Oscar of Year 8, who both had influential games playing a year up.
