Revision & Study Skills

At St Mary's there is a wide range of support on offer to our KS4 students as they prepare for their exams. 

In this section you will find information, resources, timetables and guides all designed to support effective revision and facilitate a productive, successful examinations process. You will find:

Our study Skills programme runs annually from September to November in advance of the mock examination period. After the mocks, Study Skills makes way for subject Revision Sessions. Students can attend Study Skills every Wednesday for support, specialist advice and a studious environment to supplement their private revision. Sessions take place in the main hall unless otherwise advertised.

Our study Revision Sessions run annually from September to May in advance of the GCSE examination period. Some sessions run all year while others begin after the mock exams. Some sessions are invitation only - heads of department will be in touch - whilst others (most sessions) are open to all. We recommend that students attend daily after their mock exams utilising the wide offer available. The latest timetable will appear below and on the school bulletin.
