MFL Key Stage 3 French
Year 7
In Year 7 pupils have 5 hours of French lessons over the fortnight. Through careful adaptation of the Dynamo 1 course, we aim to ensure that all pupils make the best possible progress in French given their varied starting points from Key Stage 2.

Year 8
In Year 8 pupils have 5 hours of French lessons over the fortnight. The course along with careful differentiation ensures that all pupils are ready to start the Foundation GCSE French course in Year 9.

Year 9
In Year 9 pupils start the Foundation French GCSE course so that all students can experience French at Key Stage 4 level so that they can make a fully informed choice for their options later in the year. We follow the Studio AQA GCSE Foundation course.
