Instrumental Lessons
Students are encouraged to learn a musical instrument (including vocal skills) for the many benefits they offer. We are very fortunate to have highly experienced and successful teachers who visit the school each week and teach a wide range of instruments. Our current instrumental teaching is listed below.
Mr. Russell – drum kit, Mr Griffiths – brass, Mrs kinnaird – strings, Mrs coleman – clarinet and saxophone, Mrs daniels – flute, Mr Taylor – guitars, Mrs Bovell – voice.
Students who would like to trial or start instrumental lessons should see Mr Thomas.

Herefordshire Music Service has launched a new page on its website; ‘Choosing an instrument’. It’s designed to help children and their parent/carers make an informed choice about the instrument that is best for them. It includes pictures, information and brief video clips with instruments introduced by children and young people. The videos have been produced by Brighton and Hove Music and Arts and are used with their kind permission.
