Internal Exams

St Mary's operates continual assessment throughout the school year for both KS3 and KS4.

Assessments data is fed into interim and full reports that are communicated home.

Annual 'end of year' tests take place in the summer term to gather controlled assessment data and support student preparation for the formal exam process. Most exams take place in the Sports Hall in full exam conditions.

Students should prepare carefully for these exams using the opportunity to develop their revision and organisation skills as well as retrieving and retaining key subject knowledge.

Departments publish annual revision lists and share these with students so they can fully prepare. Below you will find the relevant revision content for the relevant subjects. Both KS3 and KS4 lists are below.

Students should also carefully check Edulink where staff post more detailed revision guidance including resources, multimedia, past papers, and an array of helpful materials.
