Inter House Games Day

Interhouse games day is one of the most anticipated days of the year. Set up to celebrate the commitment Mr Wilcox showed dedicating his whole teaching career to St Mary’s. The event happens in the winter term and it’s a time for coming together as a house, bringing out your competitive side and definitely the face paint!

Throughout the day, students take part in a variety of team sports; Football, Rugby, Basketball, Netball and Hockey. Alongside Newcome as a whole form, a volleyball-based game exclusive to St Mary’s.

The aim of the day is to have fun and try your hardest. Every person who takes part earns participation points for their form, so even if sport isn’t for you, give it a go and who knows, that could be the winning point!

The winners in 2023 were Laboure!
